Never Again
Terrible, mould in the bathroom, curtains hanging off, plaster in sink, spots of excrement in the toilet

Okay for the price. Friendly staff. Could improve.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and it was a cheap hotel for us to stay the one night. With price into consideration, I didn't mind the following too much but they are areas the hotel can improve upon: The two mugs were wet and looked either dirty or badly stained. The combo was a bit gross but a new pair of plain white mugs wouldn't be too costly if the staining is that bad. Luckily we're not tea drinkers! The room smells quite strongly of moth balls - or a kind of chlorine-y type smell. It was a little too much at first but we soon got used to it. The bed felt like it had way too many sheets on it and it made sleeping quite awkward and uncomfortable. The heavy outer sheet would fall off the bed and drag other sheet with it. It's a little confusing to deal with mid-sleep. Additionally the mattress felt old with little support for the body. The edge of the carpet had lots of dust and grub it in, kind of like what gets left behind after stripping wall paper off or doing painting. It's a small touch that would make the room look a whole notch cleaner. The car park was a handy addition and we did take advantage of it. It's quite secure. The shower room was nice but the shower head couldn't be tilted lower down - it kind of shot out horizontally at shoulder height. Pressure and temperature we good though. We stayed in room 50. I would recommend for the price, but not if you're after luxury or a great deal of comfort.

Not a great experience!
Check in was very good and Guy on the reception was very friendly and efficient. The room was dated and tired and poorly finished in the en-suite. Bed clothes were very old fashioned and could do with a duvet but minor detail. The sink only gave me hot water which wasn’t nice when brushing teeth and in the morning I had the pleasure of an ice cold shower as the hot wasn’t working. Advised issue to reception on check out and young man on counter apologised but no offer of part refund or discount off another stay. Breakfast was pretty good. No parking so had to park away from hotel with a 5 min walk but again minor detail. I would not stay at this hotel again due to the cold shower problem.

Exceptional 10.0
The hotel is located right in the heart of Clifton, and is easy to find. Parking was easily accessible and although I had to pay for it, it was nice to have the peace of mind that the car was safe (especially after breaking down on the way). The room was ideal for my husband and I. It was a little rough round the edges, and the bathroom floor could definitely have done with being replaced and some of the grout etc in the bathroom could do with being touched up. It was, however, a spacious and comfortable room. The bed, which was a king size, was just 2 singles joined together in the middle which was ok until my husband almost fell down the middle of them during the night! It would be good to have actual double/king sized beds in some rooms

Poor 2.0
Disappointing
Booked a night's stay with two rooms, one was absolutely tiny with a built in shower and the other was huge with a seperate bathroom with bath... Same price, how's that for value for money. Our room was also freezing, the windows didn't open and were jammed shut with cardboard, the walls were obviously mouldy (see photos), the drawers were broken and theres only one plug that's miles away from the bed. Honestly it's cheap but so is the regency across the road, stay there instead. The only positive is they forgot to charge me and apparently everyone else for parking.

Basic but good ✅
Amazing bar and breakfast but Basic hotel room , no room clean as short staffed but with room being small and not much in it didnt really need cleaning anyway. no heating as issue so just had a small electric heater but again it done the job so you get what you pay for - still loved the racks breakfast - best one i have had in a long time!!

Al milk!!
Fantastic to have real milk and real coffee! Fruit too! Well done! Not so well done to drive 500 miles to hotel, then to see note on door to relocate!!!! However, very accommodating staff. That and fresh milk made my day!
