The staff were so friendly! We were travelling with our 10 month old, and they loved to interact with her. Was a treat to go down for breakfast every morning, as the breakfast staff would take time to come and say hi and get some smiles and giggles out of our little one. Besides the great staff, the hotel was great for families. Free breakfast always helps when travelling with a little one. And the suite-style room is great for eating in if you want to. Our room had a little cove where we could put the pack and play provided by the hotel in its own quiet little corner, which made sleeping a lot easier for our little one. The hotel was quiet, and clean. No pool, but they do have a little gym. No bar or restaurant in the hotel, which was fine because there are restaurants out on Charles St. The hotel is very close to the Mount Vernon area (Walters Art Museum, Washington Monument, Peabody Library). About a 20 minute walk south to the Harbor, and a 20-25 minute walk north to Penn Station). Good location during the day. Dies down a bit at night, and if you are walking from the harbor back to the hotel at night, you will pass through some blocks that are slightly sketchy. We would stay here again!

Good hotel, Horrible location
I thought the hotel itself was very nice. The room I stayed in was well-kept and restocked while I worked during the day. Breakfast was decent in the morning, the main drawback about it was that there were not too many freshly made food items as many of the breakfast items are pre-packaged and require warming up in the microwave. The overall room service was great in terms of cleaning the room and they even restocked their free room gifts. My only real complaint has to do with the location of the hotel/valet staff. There is NO parking near the hotel. The location of the hotel is also in a sketchy street near an ally, which doesn't really make you feel comfortable parking far away from the hotel at night and then having to walk the rest of the distance back. Thus, this leaves you no choice but to depend on the valet parking they offer at $35/day. While this is pretty standard price for valet, it's outrageous when you are staying any extended period of time and take into account that there is no other option as far as parking goes. With valet being the only means of parking your car, you would think they have enough staff to do that but NO, you'll have to wait upwards of 25-30 minutes to get your car because there's usually only one person working. Great hotel, but they need to make some slight changes.

The Slums! Stay Away! This Place is Trash!
Worst hotel on earth. The entire staff was unprofessional. I booked the hotel on Hotels.com but they still charged my credit card for the entire stay. Argued about giving me a refund and then stuck me with a bogus $250 smoking fee. I nor my guest smoke and clearly there was no smoking in the room. There was trash in the trash can, stains on the sheets and urine in the toilet upon check-in. The staff at the front desk were poorly trained, talking about being new with limit training and arguing about having to work on New Years Eve. My friends entered the room to visit me during my stay and were harassed during their visit. They made claims that there were more than 4 parties in my room when there were only 3. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. This hotel is garbage. I asked to speak to the manager to get resolved and was told he doesn't want to talk to me and they continued to hangup on me every time I called.

Misleading information on Hotels.com
I was mislead by the claim of a free area shuttle. Needed to get to Camden Yards for a ball game (only 1.2 miles away) and was told the shuttle only went to a handful of specific locations. Then asked for the front desk to call for a taxi for us. Front desk staff called for one, said it would be 15-20 minutes but maybe less. We sat waiting for half an hour, still no taxi. I asked for another taxi to be called and the girl at the desk said she would call a local taxi. He said he was 7 minutes away. We waited and after about an hour of waiting and neither taxi showing up, I asked again about the shuttle, telling her that it had been one of the features that had led me to book with them. She said it wasn’t available for us, even to get us part way to the park. In the end we walked with our two kids across downtown Baltimore on a hot and sticky afternoon. The hotel itself was fine, nicely updated, but the experience and misleading info really spoiled it for us.

Worst stay ever
Horrible I had a neighbor that required complete silence I checked in about 6:30pm had a noise compliant at 7pm .. it was just me she didn't like that the microwave was up against her wall and she could hear when I opened and close it.. then at 5am she banged on my door complaining about noise again but she didn't knock she banged on my door like SWAT ,ATF .. my tv was to loud and agin she heard the hangin from the microwave .. stating her mom just got in from the hospital . This isn't my first time staying at this hotel .. I'm not a rude person . But on a Friday in downtown heart of the city I shouldn't have to whisper in a room .. I could have stayed home my neighbors don't require this much silence and there seniors. Did I mention it was my birthday weekend .. horrible
