Hip but feels a little like college
Despite a comfortable enough room, we were disappointed in that the hotel feels a bit like a college dorm...dank, dark hallways and stairwells lead up to a small rooftop. Breakfast was pretty good, staff pretty helpful. Location walkable to many sites. Would have been more to our liking in our 20's, today we prefer a little bit more refinement easily found at the same price point in the neighborhood.

Service is good from the staff but the cleaning not that great went into the room with a used towel behind the toliet door, clear the towel outside the room door told the staff they can clear the towel outside the room but took them a day to clear it. If u love to party and stay out very late like 2am to 4am this hotel can stay coz if u get the 1st floor room welcome to the club that is at B1 which will play music till about 2am to 4am. Other wise stay away from this hotel better. Breakfast selection change daily for the 2 nights stay which is great and the free selection and amount of snack is good when im in the room waiting for the music to stop

I REALLY enjoyed my stay here at The Hammock! My 3-week trip was a complete nightmare and hope I never experience again; however, the highlight of my stay in Ho Chi Minh City was the exceptional staff who made my stay enjoyable...when I needed a shuttle to and from the airport, The two Annie's Tran,, Nina and Nina were able to book shuttles for a VERY good price to and from the hotel. When I got lost finding my way back to the hotel, Annie and Trang were extremely helpful! When I wanted to change rooms, Chris and Felix were able to transfer to a great room and a VERY good rate for my entire stay! The breakfast offered each morning was great(especially their pancakes!😋), plus all the soft drinks, snacks and cup of noodles was an excellent bonus! When I wanted to order food or make reservations for a restaurant, Annie , Tran and Lindsey were able to provide with lots of good options and ordered delicious foods! My trip was a really bad experience, but this wonderful and caring staff understood and went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay memorable and comfortable and from the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU!!! When I return to Ho Chi Minh City, I will DEFINITELY stay at the Hammock Hotel again! I HIGHLY recommend staying here!😊

Book this hotel. It is walking distance from everything, and the amenities are great. Breakfast is included, which was delicious, and there are unlimited free snacks and beverages for the duration of your stay. The room was clean, although small. You can also do laundry for free, but if you do make sure to do so early as there are only 2 machines and the loads take a long time.

Budget Friendly Hotel in Ho Chi Minh
This was a great hotel centrally located within Ho Chi Minh City. It Is only a few minutes walk from the hotel to Ben Thanh market, Nguyen Hue walking street, and Reunification Palace. There were multiple dining and transportation options nearby. The hotel seems to be newly renovated, and is clean and well-equipped. The room wasn't as big as some other places I've stayed at in Vietnam, but that wasn't a big deal for me - the room had a window which is not something I could say about some other places I've stayed at. The wifi worked well during my stay and there was a TV with English channels available. The free beverages and snacks at the hotel was definitely a big draw of the hotel - chips, cup noodles and soda were all available. The complimentary breakfast (with western and Vietnamese options available) was also a very nice touch. A special feature of the hotel was the rooftop terrace - it was a place for self-serve laundry but it was a good place to hang out, and a good place for taking photos of the Ho Chi Minh city skyline.
