This was my family's 3rd or 4th time staying at this hotel & we love it. We'll keep going back. Its located on Congress Street in downtown Springfield, perfectly located 12 minutes from The Big E State Fair (which is primarily why we go to Springfield) but its also extremely close to The Basketball Hall of Fame. LaQuinta is very clean & the rooms are a pretty good size. There's a great bar in the lobby & for the past 3 years Kim has been our bartender. Kim is the best & creates all of these special fall cocktails. If you're staying at this hotel, definitely go see Kim...I cant find anything bad to say about this hotel & best part is that its extremely affordable too

Hotel was in a remodeling phase. Bed was comfortable. TV was the smallest in any place I have ever stayed. Bathroom was small and you could not open door fully. Staff was good and helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh and attendant was constantly restocking and cleaning. Good price and close to where I had to be. Average at best.

The shower drain was clogged even before I had used it for the first time and I was standing in dirty water after only a few minutes of running the water. I had to unclog the shower drain by hand and it was clearly still full of debris from previous guests. The shower pressure was very low and the temperature would fluctuate constantly from freezing cold to boiling hot. Overall the staff were nice, the bed was comfortable, and it was a convenient stay.

For me entering a hotel a have welcoming staff it’s essential. It a great feeling to be greeted and answered all questions. I was amazed that the ladies at the front desk both speak Spanish. Isha explained everything with so much patience and then our room was excellent. Looked like a small apartment with mini kitchen and even a dishwasher. Breakfast was included and to my surprise it was a complete breakfast. Large variety of waffles, eggs and bacon, oatmeal with all the fixings, yogurt, cereal , fresh fruit coffee and tea. The ladies working at the breakfast area Leyda and Erica are amazing, they are what good customer service means. We are now planning to go back.
