New England heirloom

A typical New England Home, this is a family home with 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. One room has double bed, TV, roll-a-way, while the 2nd bedroom has twin beds. The spacious full bathroom has a tub. Downstairs is a double-sized bedroom with doors to the upstairs, living room and bathroom. The downstairs full bathroom has a shower. A washer and dryer is also in this bathroom. An iron and hair dryer are available. The first floor is completed with a comfortable living room, sun room with desk, games, and reading books. There is a separate dining room and a furnished kitchen. There is free WI-FI.
A short walk or drive will take you to the local post office, gas station, restaurants, ice cream shops, gift shops, hardware store, banks, blueberry barrens and local fisheries.
The location serves as a perfect base for day trips to local attractions such as Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Roques Bluff State Park, beautiful Machias, Lubec and Quoddy Head, Eastport, and even the summer home of F.D. Rooselvelt in Campobello New Brunswick(remember your passport). Numerous fishing villages such as Jonesport and Beals Island provide scenic getaways. There is hiking, biking, Coastal boat tours to observe the local Puffins, Seals, Whales and the numerous light houses along the coast. A perfect place to observe the rockbound coast of Maine or the scenic blueberry fields and forests of Down East Maine. Don't forget the beautiful fall colors. Many day trips can be planned to enjoy the beautiful fall scenery.

****Photos of the ocean are of some of my favorite places nearby you can visit. It should be noted the house is not on the ocean but only minutes from it.
