Needs a little work
I stayed here for three nights on a weekend pleasure trip. I’ve stayed at quite a few Four Seasons over the years because I’m consistently wowed by the beauty of the hotels and the level of service from the staff. Four Seasons is know for having the absolute NICEST staff in the hotel industry, something I know they’re proud of and that customers have come to expect. This particular Four Seasons is brand new and because of that I’m willing to give it a little bit of a break because you can’t expect everything to be perfect from the get go, it’s gonna take time. That being said, I did have issues with the service at the restaurant. The hostesses were quite rude to me on two different occasions - once when I showed up for dinner (by myself) at 9:30 PM on a Thursday, and one when I showed up for lunch at 12:00 PM on a Saturday. When I went for dinner they asked if I had a reservation to which I responded no because I’m eating alone and also I was under the impression hotel guests didn’t require one. They said the restaurant was full but there was clearly open tables and seats at the bar. I said to the hostess that there are clearly open tables, I can see them. She responded “oh actually we ran out of ingredients to make food.” You’re trying to tell me a five star hotel restaurant ran out of ingredients... no ma’am. I walked over to reception to complain and the hostess immediately came over and said “we can seat you now.” Poor attitude and service. That aside, stay was perfect!
