A great place to stay if you are going to take the ferry back to Bar Harbor. Walking distance to the main part of town and less than 5 minutes drive to the ferry terminal. A very well kept older hotel, with a great restaurant and super friendly staff.

We came in tired and a little nauseous from the Cat Ferry. Luckily, it was only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and informative. The receptionist who checked us in recommended a taxi service that we used the next day.

Nice stay - I always stay there when I’m in the area for work, and occasionally when visiting family. Location is convenient, quiet, clean and great views of town and the harbour. Room was a bit too warm and stuffy for my taste and didn’t seem to be able to regulate totally. Also, didn’t appreciate having housekeeping knock on my door a minute or 2 past 11.
