Exceptional
Best Downtown Hotel!
Wonderful stay, we had three fantastic suites, including 1924 (two bedroom luxury suite with dining area and living room). Buffet breakfast at Bigelow grill had to have been one of the best in the city and came with our room! Swimming pool was a good temperature and very large, open early until late which is always a plus. Best hotel to stay at if you are going to PPG Paints arena, just a two block walk! Also so convenient for great restaurants in Market Square.

OK Room, Unfortunate Bathroom
The hotel has great staff and ans a good location, but my room was clean if not a bit shabby. The bathroom was the main problem. The tile had mold or mold stains all around the shower. Near the toilet there small brown streaks on the tile that were alarming close to the hand towels folded over the grab bars by the toilet. The shower drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom as it was an accessible shower with no tub. The problem was reported in the AM but not fixed until reported a second time after 7 pm. the response was quick and helpful, but should have been done right the first time. Everything else was perfectly fine.

Unfortunately we had to pay $42 for parking because the garage was full, we were unable to check in early which is understandable but we checked in at 9pm (after the football game) to find a very unclean bathroom with hair clumps and 1 towel

Room service needs improved.
We stayed at the hotel To go to the Pens game. Our room was very nice but the bed very comfortable. We ordered breakfast for in the morning at 8:30. It didn’t come till 9:30. And only one breakfast. We ordered two. Decaf coffee.... we ordered caffeinated. So we had to share 2 cold eggs. Also no toast with our eggs that we shared. We ordered toast. So we were behind by an hour and no caffeine.

Very nice room. Quiet for in the city. Close to PPG Paints Areana. The parking is really the only downside. Took me about 20 mins to pull into the valet garage from the street.
