An oasis in Oaxaca with the most attentive and friendly staff you can imagine. Both the rooftop and the coffee bar serves 10/10 delicious food and drink from you wake up till you go to sleep. Great selection of Mexican natural wine! Rooms are super spacious, well decorated and feels very private and quiet. Would go back to Oaxaca to stay at this hotel again. Could not recommend more!

The location is also great and very convenient to all the restaurants, cafes, and shops. I was so impressed with this hotel. Don’t let the size fool you. It may be a small hotel but it is big on service. To say that the staff there is helpful and accommodating is an understatement, they go above and beyond. I’ve stayed my fair share of hotels, big and small. Casa Antonieta feels luxurious with so many personal touches. From our interaction with the wonderful staff members to all the little details the hotel put into the hotel suite itself that makes the experience feel very personal. I would stay here again the next time we are in Oaxaca. As far as the location of the property, it’s the best. We are big on walking everywhere so this location allowed us to walk to several quaint barrio like Jalatlaco, Xochimilco, Reforma and so on.

Casa Antonieta was incredible! If you have the chance to stay here, you should without question. The staff here was so attentive and helpful with arrangements and recommendations. Their response time to emails was some times nearly instantaneous and everything they recommended was top notch. The room was spacious and relaxing, and had a shower with great water pressure. Fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and Mezcalerias all within a few blocks. I look forward to staying at Casa Antonieta again soon.

Perfect base for exploring Oaxaca and vicinity

Highly recommend this boutique hotel in a prime location. Extremely quiet except for short time periods Friday and Saturday nights. The building is an old family mansion. Rooms are elegant in an understated way. Premier amenities. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Loved the rooftop for breakfast, afternoon drinks, or a light dinner.

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. We stayed in a suite which was perfect because I had an entire separate, private space to work virtually in video calls. The internet was consistent and higher speed than most hotels I’ve stayed in. The design details, lighting, comfort, and extra touches such as robes and slippers were wonderful. The cafe and terrace restaurant are fantastic as well. Centrally located, but the building is very well sound proofed and quiet inside the room. Hospitality and friendliness of the staff made us feel at home.
