Honeymoon
The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, pillows soft and the breakfast delicious. I loved the decor very stylish and good value. We booked for a second night and enjoyed complimentary strawberries and chocolates.

50/50 stay Experience.
I have very mixed feelings about my/our stay. I used my free night then my daughter and I had 6 more days booked. Our checkin lady was less than friendly and this happened a few times over the week long stay with some staff not all. When we contacted about issues often told too busy but never got back to us. I thought we paid for this stay not them! In the first hour of checking in, had to contact twice about bags even though told were in the room, then someone came to check the room bar, though room was suppose to be ready, then some one else came as didn't thing it was occupied. Room wasn't made up the next day and one other have to contact. then it was half done , had to ring for toilet paper. Weren't told about wifi so used all mobile data. No price list for mini bar. Tv cutting out., then didn't work so asked for batteries. The person that came up said" look its on and its a new system", we said be our guest and try it then. So he then gave us a new remote. still cutting out. Few other things and may seem small but when it was each day and you pay good money to stay in a "quality" hotel, its not good enough. I already told staff and filled out form on line when there, nothing. When checking out had the same and just took bottle wine off bill. I'd rather pay the $20 and had better time. I have waited a week to fill this out to see if anymore contact but no. I do believe in giving good feed back to those that did make out stay pleasant. Room clean, location good.

Expected better from a supposedly 5-star hotel
Local attractions are great. In regards to the hotel i expected better for one that is listed as 5-star on Hotels.com. No pool or spa. No fitness centre even when it's listed as one of the features available. You have to pre-arrange via the concierge and walk 15-20mins to nearby sister hotel Pullman to use any such facilities. The bath options looks great only on paper as what offered is haphazard: 3 times I tried, not once they get it right. 1st time i asked for bubble bath but someone brought me bath salts; next time i asked for bath salts but someone brought me bubble bath solution; 3rd (final) time I asked for bath salts yet I was given both bath salts and bubble bath solution FIVE MINUTES BEFORE checkout. Beware hidden costs of holding charges. Always ask for invoice even when you've prepaid online and nothing to pay. The initial charge of $75 which is listed on Hotels.com and informed at the beginning of the stay is acceptable as I was aware of it prior to purchase on Hotels.com. But the hotel did not say about ADDITIONAL holding charges ($90) AFTER I've checked out. I find this out the hard way by checking my credit card. When I called them to complain, they said they forgot to mention it !!!
