Limited bar facilities
Our stay was excellent apart from the night a corporate group of about 300 delegates were given priority over the paying guests and the Tavalu restaurant and bar was closed off. This is unacceptable and the hotel management should find other ways of accommodating corporate groups without any detriment to their paying guests. This problem is caused fundamentally as the Resort only has one evening bar which is quite extraordinary for a complex of this size!

Whilst they say it’s newly renovated, our exhaust fan in bathroom wasn’t working. The dual shower heads didn’t work and couldn’t get single one to work only. The service was extremely poor, room service called 3 times to confirm the order and then another instance we waited 2hrs just for a butter knife. They say it’s Fiji time but this is beyond joke when you have almost 800AUD per night then you expect excellent service. The staff were nice and friendly but something broke down during service calls.
