6/10 Good

It was ok for a bed to sleep. So much potential. Half renovated, quite noisy, over priced for what it was. Hope they fix it up and use it to its full potential

8/10 Very good

Thought the old QLD style building was different and quaint. Building is going under some extensive Renovations. Would be nice to see them completed in full. Some hooks in bathroom and maybe bedroom would be good.

2/10 Poor

Old and rundown, rooms were dirty, Capet dirty, never vacume and cleaned. Venetian blinds dirty, bathroom plug hole dirty. Steps unsafe wood rotting, it would not pass any OHS inspection it a wonder no one has fallen on rotten steps without rails.

4/10 Fair

DIRTY - NOISY - BADLY MAINTAINED - NOT CLEANED - BAD SERVICE. I liked the location of the property, it is also a 'fun' relaxed place to be. It is good for what it is. However, on the other hand, I wouldn't go back. There were bare electrical wires coming out of the walls (I was told they weren't live), one of the cups in my room was stained (I was told it had been through the dish washer). I had one partial toilet roll for a two day stay, no spares at all, no replacements provided. No one came to clean or arrange the room on the second day. The room had two access doors, one went to a corridor, which was close to the piano / TV/ billiards room, the other opened into a communal area. I couldn't sleep due to how noisy it was. The walls were very thin, with no sound insulation. When I complained I was told it was still early and I shouldn't expect to sleep at 6pm. This is basically a very run down pub, targeting at back packer / hostel goers. It would be better if it portrayed itself as such. There is nothing 'grand' about this.

8/10 Very good

Tiny room, very basic, but clean, fresh and comfortable beds (albeit very squeaky!. Bathroom appeared newly renovated and water pressure was great and lovely hot! Very quiet, which was surprising given the amount of people in town, and a cute outdoor space with lots of birdlife. Hosts were friendly and helpful, overall a good place to rest after a busy day out exploring.
