Get to the top of the Arc de Triomphe to take an impressive photo from above "the most beautiful avenue in the world". At dusk, you can try to take a long-exposure snap of the traffic with the Arc de Triomphe in the background from one of the pedestrian islands in the middle of the road. Try to avoid getting run over in the process.

Take a breath of fresh air in the 17th-century Luxembourg park. Fountains, statues, tree-lined promenades, flowerbeds and basins offer a great choice of subjects for photographers. Hotels situated around the 6th Arrondissement are a good option.
