    Yorkdale Shopping Centre

    Visit a gigantic, elegant mall north of town

    Yorkdale Shopping Centre has been offering tonnes of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment to northern Toronto since 1964 with over 400,000 visitors every week. The gigantic interior offers 27-foot-high glass ceilings for plenty of natural light and retains the same attraction it did when it originally opened, at which time it was the largest mall of its type in the world. Though it no longer holds that title, it offers many upscale tenants including Tiffany & Co and Michael Kors. It's also the home of the first Apple Store in Canada.

    Yorkdale's food court offers several options for food while you shop, even offering an outdoor terrace area. It's about a 30-minute drive north of city centre.

    Dufferin Mall

    Visit a vast mall on a historic site

    Dufferin Mall sits on the site of the historic Dufferin Park Racetrack from the early 20th century, offering over 120 shops and services spread over 567,000 square feet of space. Originally part of an estate, it became a racetrack in the early 1900s, which closed in the 1950s and re-opened as a shopping plaza in 1956. That plaza was enclosed in the 70s and became a mall. Today, it houses tonnes of stores from big box retail names to independent boutique outlets. The shops and stores are spread over 3 stories and the mall houses no fewer than 4 anchor tenants.

    Dufferin Mall is only 20 minutes west of city centre. It's in Toronto's Golden Horseshoe.

    Vaughan Mills

    Take the kids to LEGOLAND…inside a mall

    Vaughan Mills is just north of Toronto in the city of Vaughan and offers 15 retail anchors to create a shopper's dream, from luxury brands to outdoor adventure shops. Here you can head to Victoria's Secret for intimate wear, visit the Children's Place for outfits for the little ones, hit Saks Off 5th Avenue for luxury, and then hit up the gigantic Bass Pro Shop Outdoor World for all your hunting, fishing, and camping needs. For the little ones, visit a giant LEGOLAND Discovery Centre with rides, a 4D cinema, workshops, and LEGO sculptures.

    Toronto Eaton Centre

    Explore one of Eastern Canada's largest malls

    Toronto Eaton Centre is one of the largest shopping centres in eastern Canada and among the top tourist destinations in Toronto with more than 230 stores and services. This vast complex covers over 1.7 million square feet of space, all indoor. You'll find leading retail names here like Coach, Forever 21, Steve Madden, and many others. The Centre also has nine sit-down restaurants and over 30 stands in the mall's Urban Eatery food court. Just outside the mall, you'll find a public square that hosts concerts and special events all year long.

    Sherway Gardens

    Shop a centre of high fashion and luxury

    Sherway Gardens is an easy jaunt from Square One in the West End and offers a distinctive profile with more than 1 million square feet and 215 shops and services. It's among the largest malls in Toronto and has changed and evolved over the years until today it is a centre of the high fashion, haute couture, and luxury shopping scene. Here you will find names like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, DeBeers Diamond Jewellers, Kate Spade, Gucci, Coach, Davids, and Hudson's Bay, among others.

    Toronto Premium Outlets

    Visit Canada's first premium outlet mall

    The Toronto Premium Outlets are the place for famed brands at prices that are hard to beat, offering a huge collection of big names and great deals. This mall is a bit of a trip from the city core, about a 40-minute drive west, but is well worth the drive. You'll find names like Adidas, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker London, Zumiez, Jimmy Choo, Aritzia, Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and many others. The anchor stores here are Saks Off 5th and Restoration Hardware.

    An outlet mall is the place to get upscale brands at casual costs. The Toronto Premium Outlets was the first of its kind in the nation and it's still among the best.

    Fairview Mall

    Shop a small space that packs tonnes of stores

    Fairview Mall in North York packs many options into a smaller space and offers everything from books to booze, appliances to fashion, toys to housewares. This is the place you come if you want to take a quick break from sightseeing, and you can find everything you want from a souvenir to necessities, and you don't have to sacrifice an entire day exploring a gigantic area. If you do want to spend the day here, however, you easily can. It has more than 180 stores and even a full cinema complex where you can catch a Hollywood blockbuster.

    Check out stores like Hudson's Bay, H&M, Victoria's Secret, and Little Burgundy, among other names. It's 25 minutes north.

    Pacific Mall

    Visit one of the largest Asian malls in the West

    Pacific Mall is a unique shopping centre focused entirely on Asian businesses, among the largest of its type in the Western World and a major visitor attraction. It's on the edges of the Toronto city limits, about 35 minutes from the centre of town. It offers more than 450 shops and services over 270,000 square feet of space, surrounded by an outdoor shopping plaza that offers hundreds more shops and services. This is a place where you can spend days exploring this area.

    Among the largest attractions at the Pacific Mall is Heritage Town, a food court and art installation featuring a bas-relief dragon, 300 lanterns, terracotta soldiers, a wooden walking bridge, and an emperor's chair.

    Visit an indoor mall with a full theme park

    Woodbine Centre and Fantasy Fair Amusement Park is a thrilling and unique attraction offering 107 stores and services, plus an entire indoor amusement and theme park.
