2/10 Poor

Everything was durty in the room, very poor and old , ancient , ants on the bed, very bad smell , terrible room, durty towels and bed sheets. The food was terrible, I couldn’t eat almost anything, a lot of cats in the restaurant and flies, the staff eating the food in front of guests. Wifi terrible. The staff of the reception wasn’t helpful, I wanted to speak with expedia but I couldn’t because the wifi wasn’t work and the didn’t want to help me with a call or anything Etc etc etc

I can imagine next stay in this hotel :)
Everything was great. We are low cost travelers and this hotel offers good value of accommodation and all-inclusive. Personal of hotel was helpful and never had problem to give you what you wanted. Food was also tasty and for our one week stay it was good enough. New builded bar on the beach and free deck chairs was unexpected surprise :) Hotel was full of Russian citizens so there was language barricade for us to make new contacts :) We can just recommend to you like we will recommend our friends
Beach is like 200m from hotel
Pool was clear

Proceed with Caution
This is a resort area of Cuba with huge potential. However, this is no where near American or European (or most any other) standard for a "Resort" facility. Very dates, the pool water was sketchy, the staff was detached, the condition was run-down, the food was barely acceptable and while I had a nice time seeing some friends, it is like a low-end, mom/pop hotel from the 40's or 50's. The pillows were flat and well beyond their life span. The "optional" blankets were stiff and unclean. No phones. No internet. OLD tube-style TV's. Scratchy towels. Only soap and a thin bath gel (no conditioner, shampoo, lotion, etc...) So, if you stay here -- think of it as camping with A/C, avoid the pool and visit the beach, keep an eye on the food prep and you'll be OK. This is typical of a government-owned facility -- if you can find it in Cuba....ALWAYS stay in a private/foreign place.

Sketchy, but Typical
If you are used to staying at hotels with American standards for cleanliness, comfort and convenience -- you're not going to find that here. While this place is typical of Cuban-owned/operated hotels, it is a FAR cry from anything most Americans would find acceptable. Property was run down and in very poor repair. Food was sketchy. Service was insolent to apathetic. Typical of what communism produces -- they have no incentive for excellence and so make absolutely no attempt to meet it. Sadly, I was with Cuban friends and we had to stay in separate buildings. As a "foreigner", I got the "nice" room (what a joke) while their accommodations were even worse than mine. I love Cuba, Cubans, the culture and the country. They just need some good old capitalism to help them reach for their potential. I'm a world traveler, so I'm used to accommodations of all kinds. This place has so much potential as it is on some beautiful real estate. Sadly, it is just so far below even a reasonable standard that it bordered on the uncomfortable. The one bright spot was that the entertainment director worked very hard at providing some fun family activities in the evening and the lady giving massages was nice. Well worth the $20cuc for a 45 minute massage.

This is a budget all inclusive in Cuba, you get what you pay for. Would recommend for a few days but not a long stay. Common area bathrooms were terrible.

Preis Leistung ok
