Nice place. Rooms and bathroom are small. But it’s ok for what you pay. Nice and quiet neighborhood

It's ok. In a really good area sites wise, easy to get around and look at everything. The woman running the hostel is awesome, and there's a map of the best dites to help you make sure you see everything. However, the place itself is pretty simple and there's no privacy. It's clean, but uncomfortable, and I couldn't shower. Small breakfast, no eggs. Really go only if your looking for somewhere to crash imo.

Buget Friendly Disappointment.
Good points. Budget price for last minute stay. Welcoming and helpful reception staff . Clean place, filter coffee at breakfast good. Room 210, shower power very poor. Water only warmed once out of 4 attempts. Small room no heat , just one thin blanket. Neighbourhood not pleasant for holiday travellers and 40 minutes walk to Cathedral. No close good eateries. On depature charged 125pesos as having scratched my head, pillow case had 2 spots of blood .

Did see the room without a window and it's on the south wall so it's very warm from the sun with just a fan

We had a wonderful stay and will most definitely be back! The breakfast was great, with fresh fruit always available as well as different cereals, toast and jams and coffee. Our room was cleaned everyday and the rest of the hotel was impeccably clean as well. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was considering it’s right in the heart of Guadalajara! While there wasn’t much in terms of restaurants REALLY close by, we walked pretty much everywhere we wanted to go and didn’t even bother taking the bus. We felt totally safe walking around both during the day and at night. Thanks for a great first expierience in Guadalajara! We absolutely fell in love with this city and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while we were there.

Economic place to stay
Nice friendly atmosphere, great location to historic center area, economic rates, will not be the best choice if you have a naggy or gitty wife or girlfriend, it has rustic parking available hard to access, better to Uber and bike around the city. This Hostel gived me and reminded me my Mexican roots away from the luxury and high maintenance people. I loved the authenticity of this place and people.

No bathroom
We booked and paid another hotel nearby, when we got there, they said there was an error and no rooms were available. We got transfered to this hotel but there was no bathroom Inside the room and it wasn’t clean, so we just left and looked for another hotel last minute. Bad experience overall.

Great value & comfortable, but limited parking.
Best suited for guests without vehicles as the single file parking doesn't allow guests to move their vehicle when they wish. The rooms and facilities were very clean & comfortable. Note that the room description of Queen and Single Bed is incorrect. Definitely a Double and Single. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Back in Guadalajara
The reality is that this has become my home away from home, its quiet, comfortable, the owners are super nice and make you feel at home. If you want to keep to yourself the place is big enough that you can, or you can make friends with the other guests staying there. The communal kitchen is fantastic and you keep your stuff there and not worry about anything. There is a little shop at the corner where you can get drinks, snacks and the neighborhood is really quiet and safe. Simply love staying here and highly recommend it.

Guadalajara Business
This is my fifth time at this hostel, its clean, quiet, and really well located in the heart of the City. I truly enjoy staying here, its basic, but I feel very comfortable and safe while staying here. The rooftop terrace is perfect for afternoon beer. I will definitely be back.

4th Time!
This was my fourth visit to this hostel, that should say it all. I was able to get my favorite room and really enjoy the peace and quiet of the location. Remember this is a hostel, but frankly I feel that you get a lot more for your money. Having a share kitchen is so cool and the patio and balconies are great. Miriam, I believe she is the owner, is super nice and helpful with any questions you may have. The neighborhood is residential but very quiet and safe. I will be back.

A Hostel that is more like a home. I loved this place, private room and bath with a common kitchen, patio, roof top grill! Very nice people run this hostel in the heart of Guadalajara. Will be back!

2/10 Poor

Don't waste your money
Dont know why this hotel has a good rating as our room was as basic as you can get.No bathroom door but a riped shower curtain in its place. Bed was hard. Toilet seat and handle broke on first night. It does have a very clean kitchen to use. Only stayed 2 nights (thank goodness). Moved to a hotel on Plaza Liberacion for 70 pesos more and 100% better.
