The hotel is convenient distance from the airport. We stayed there for 1 night during our lay over and it was great. The staff are very nice. The place looks pretty new, is clean. they just need to make sure that it’s properly maintained and cleaned regularly as required to avoid deterioration, as other hotels in Istanbul.

This hotel was fine for a one-night stay, to be near the airport, but that's about it. For the price, we were satisfied. Room was basic--tiny bathroom with 2 towels, no hair conditioner or lotion on offer, not much room. Staff was nice, but when we asked for a dinner recommendation, the young man dismissed something I'd seen online and pointed us to a kebab place. Immediately on exiting the lobby a young boy tried to herd us there, calling ahead on his cell phone. I had to get on my translation app and tell him we wanted to walk around a little first, and hadn't decided for sure, in order to get him to desist. We really wanted a glass of wine after our 2-hour taxi ride from Istanbul, but everything in the immediate area is a brightly lit place with no alcohol, so keep in mind, if that matters. After wandering around and finally just buying some fruit and cheese at a market with a very unfriendly clerk, we discovered the hotel next door had a lounge and food. (Flypoint might have had a lounge too--no one mentioned it, though, and it didn't appear to have one) so I wasn't sure why the front desk didn't mention it. Maybe a competitor? At any rate, fine for the purpose, but definitely not an area I'd want to spend any more time in than I had to.

Good service
We arrived late at night. The hotel staff met us at the taxi, our bags were brought to the room. They offered us tea with Turkish delight, which was also brought straight to the room. We had an early flight and asked for breakfast. At five in the morning they brought sandwiches, vegetables and tea to our room. Very good service.

We booked Fly Point for one night before a flight and one night after arriving back and heading out again the following day. They held our bags for us, so we could travel to Cappadocia with just carry ons. The communication with Helin beforehand was amazing! (Much better than communication at another airport hotel we tried earlier) I knew we were in good hands. She also recommended a good dinner spot. Also, the young man working the front desk was wonderful and eager to help. The place is new, so the decor and furniture is nice. They include slippers and offer a tea or coffee on arrival or check out. They can’t do enough for you. Amazing customer service! The AC worked very well. I was worried about room size, but we had no issues with our deluxe double room. The only note is if you are a light sleeper to bring ear plugs or a white noise app on you phone. This was not an issue for us. Only a 18 minute taxi from the airport (10-13 USD) on uber. We also took the H6 which dropped off almost in front of the hotel. Great spot for the night before an early flight, getting in late, or just a quick stop over!
