People screaming/yelling all the time, kids crying, the smell of weed smacked you in the face every time you walked out the door, the outside looked like trash. The dishwasher was full of mold/mildew and smelled horrid, I wouldn’t trust a dish that came out of that. There was literally mold inside inside the blanket when you held it up in the light. One of the steps going up to our room was broken and someone almost fell down the steps each time we went out. There was a huge crack under the door going into the living area from outside so anything could get into the room. I didn’t feel safe walking out to my car at night. They charge $3 for a bottle of water from the little snack area inside…so 3 of them were more expensive than an entire 35 pack at Walmart. The teens I took with me kept calling it the “Trap House” instead of the Hyatt House. All in all, you get what you pay for. Never again.
Positive notes: I liked the layout of the place and the two bedroom concept was great, it smelled clean, it looked clean (aside from the mold/mildew in the dishwasher and the blanket on one of the beds), the inside was updated/looked nice, and the staff was nice.
