The GOOD, BAD and UGLY
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: GOOD; Our room (3911) was very nice and clean with an excellent view of the falls. BAD; However, the room provides basic kitchen chairs (square and hard) to sit and view the falls, not ideal to sit, relax and take in the great view of the falls. Dividing rooms, floors and people equate to long and crowded elevator rides. UGLY; WIFI in our room was spotty to non-existent. You could be dropped immediately after connecting.

Disappointed
Nice room and view, parking is $35-$99 with the $35 plus tax, so $43 parking being inconveniently off-site with a slow shuttle. The evening reception is overcrowded in tiny bar by lobby with 1 drink & chips, pretzels, & trailmix. Your whole party has to go to breakfast at the same time to use the voucher in the same overcrowded bar so you’ll eat in your room because there’s hardly any seating. Breakfast used to be good and in the restaurant. If I had known how paltry the breakfast and ridiculous the space now is, I wouldn’t have chosen this extremely overpriced hotel. You might have to re-mortgage your house to afford a candy bar in their lobby shop!

Not really 4* standard
The Room - we booked a falls view room on floors 11-20 and got given a level 26 room. It was a fantastic view of both falls and the fireworks at 8pm each night. It was spacious with a sitting area, bathroom with separate shower and tub, an additional sink outside the bathroom, and a kitchenette with microwave fridge and sink. The bath had doors which opened up to allow you to see the rest of the room and the view beyond, but given the height, you can’t see the falls from the tub. Each room has a smaller window which opens, but this also means it doesn’t have a good seal and a cold draft comes in through it. The bathroom had a drain in the floor which gurgled 24/7 and was frustrating when trying to get to sleep. There was no cleaning service and given we were there for 6 nights it was disappointing not to have bins emptied etc. Sockets and chargers - lots of sockets under the tv and between the two beds. But - and I cannot stress this enough - we need sockets both sides of the bed, and bedside tables both sides of the bed! I’m fed up of having to charge my device overnight by the TV as I use it to check the time if I wake in the night. USBC would be a nice addition. Overall the room is the best bit of the hotel. Parking - we went for self park at CAD70 per night. The car park was good and served by the lifts so made transferring bags to/from quite good. Not sure on the price, but the offsite option was several blocks away and rip-off parking seems to be the norm.

Perfect location, staff friendly and room spacious
All staff on arrival were very friendly. Room was lovely and clean and had an amazing view of the Falls. Location was perfect.

Fantastic location & super comfortable
We stayed on the 29th floor with a Fallsview & it was incredible! Perfect view & worth the money as we could sit comfortably & watch the fireworks at night rather than be out in the cold. The room was spacious & very comfortable. The free evening reception was generous & the kids loved the snacks. Plenty of food choices around without walking far. Breakfast was underwhelming & extremely busy so that was disappointing & the only reason not giving 5 stars. We had to eat in the conference room with limited selections & food was cold.

It is not what it used to be. Breakfast once was overlooking the falls, but now it’s in a windowless basement. The food quality seems much lower as well. The late afternoon snacks have also become much less attractive. It’s still nice, but just not what it used to me.
