Disgusting Room Condition and Poor Customer Service

I recently stayed at this property. Room 300, and had a horrific experience. Upon entering my room late at night (around 11 pm), I was shocked to find 10-15 large cockroaches crawling on the mirror, walls, side table, and sofa. As a solo traveler with two small kids, this was unacceptable.
To make matters worse, when I reported the issue to the reception staff, they were uncooperative and dismissive. I was told to leave the hotel at midnight if I wasn't satisfied, despite having already checked in.
The next morning, I complained to the front desk, and the new staff member apologized and assured me that the manager would refund my stay due to the inconvenience. However, after multiple follow-up calls, the hotel refused to provide a refund.
Expedia, through whom I booked, also attempted to contact the hotel on my behalf, but they refused to cooperate.
For a reputed hotel chain charging premium rates, I expected much better service and cleanliness. The experience was equivalent to a low-budget motel.
