"The Mayfair was perfect for what we wanted. It is basically a very nice apartment set up. No extra frills like a bar, conceirge, etc. We didn't need or want it, but the amount of space vs a hotel room was what we wanted and appreciated. Location was great too. Close to the French quarter, but not in it. Right on canal and all the trolleys."

"The Ritz is always good to stay at. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This Ritz is an older spot on canal. The neighbor is rough. But the hotel is beautiful inside and the lounge was great for breakfast and a quick drink pre dinner out. We did listen to jazz around 8pm in the lounge. The trumpet player Jeremy is very talented. "The hotel was in a convenient area where you can easily access the street car and French Quarter by walking. If you're interested in gambling, the casino was just across the street. We stayed at a one bedroom and the view from the top floor was amazing. Overall, it was very clean hotel with great location. We will stay there again."

"The location of the hotel was great, just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter and Canal street. The Green trolly stops right in the corner of the hotel. The hotel was very nice and clean. Although the room was very small, other than that everything else was great."
