"We had a fantastic stay at Backby Manor with our family. The spa area was great for both kids and adults: a warm pool, plenty of floats, jacuzzi, cold plunge, separate sauna areas and a steam sauna. "The property is in a very convenient central location. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was very sumptuous. The room was very clean. Our room was facing the railway tracks. It was nice to see trains coming in and out with passengers loading and unloading. The only negative point was climbing a lot of stairs at the entrance. It is not senior friendly."

"Staff round the clock, helpful and professional. Way to room can be a bit of walk if you’re on the other side of the building especially pushing a suitcase on carpet. Rooms are well appointed, minimalist design and well use of space. Good for a night/transit and as a business hotel, and good for solo travellers as room on the smaller side of things."

"A really wonderful centrally located hotel on a lovely tree lined street with the tram passing in front. It is very well designed and maintained. The room was comfortable and the shower amazing. The staff we encountered were all kind and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning before setting out to explore Helsinki. Would most definitely recommend and return."

"Amazing value for money, Citybox is a beautiful hotel with a luxurious designer feel. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen/dining/chillout area in the lobby is so handy with microwaves and fridges to store your food. The location is superb, in a lovely quiet neighbourhood just a 15 to 20 minute walk or a quick metro/tram ride to the centre of the city and its attractions. Lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. It was the ideal retreat to return to at the end of a day's sightseeing. Highly recommended and we cannot wait to return!"

"Everything was ok in principle. They have a strict policy to allow checkins only after 4pm, we arrived 15.30 and they wanted 10eur. As a business traveller this is quite ridicilous. The receptionist was mercufyl and was able to get us in 15mlns earlier. In the evening wifi and tv stopped working and they didnt work next day either (wifi i got to work w temp nw credentials next morning). So as a regular business traveller this wasnt one of the best experiences and propably wont return to this hotel again."
