We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after landing in Rome after international flights and before travelling to the Amalfi Coast the next morning.
Getting to the hotel from the airport is extremely easy via the train to Roma Termini. And the train the next morning was from the same train station.
Walking distance to the Coliseum. Walking distance to dinner at Le Tavernelle to get an authentic Italian meal.

The Marcella Royal was a great place to stay while we were in Rome. It is on the outskirts of town, making it a quieter neighbourhood, but still within walking distance to all the major sites. It is on a quite street, while still offering many options for dining etc. The room was well-appointed and clean. The rooftop terrace was a beautiful spot for breakfast each day. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was exceptional - from the beautiful layout of the property with all its greenery, to the huge room with the comfiest bed, the impressive breakfast spread to the friendly staff. Even the resident tortoise was charming.
Trastevere is a really lovely area to stay in and this hotel is close enough to the action but also remarkably quiet and private. So close to the river and walkable to central Rome. Will definitely be back!

This hotel is very modern, well air conditioned, clean and luxurious! The rooms are very nice and beds comfortable, absolutely worth the money.
I would not recommend the rooftop restaurant though, It is expensive and unnecessarily exotic. Small portions, with an odd choice of ingredients in almost every meal, ultimately ruining the dish. The buffet breakfast was nice, and front desk staff very friendly!

Great sized apartment and rooms. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Right at the top of the Spanish steps with access to great shopping and restaurants. Only difficulty is getting a taxi early morning as they don’t seem to come that way until later. Great breakfast included and the staff were very helpful.
