"We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Coco Tangalle , we stayed in the King Coco room & it was an amazing space , large with our own private patio . Suresh looked after us during our stay & was very helpful . We would have liked to see a small refrigerator in our room & tea/coffee facilities however Suresh was very happy to place our wine in their fridge & serve it on request , he also bought us a pot of tea every morning . Gorgeous restaurant & pool with staff always ready to assist , would happily stay again "

"Our stay at Maya Tangalle Manor was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, with elegant décor and a beautiful room that opened onto a private patio. The garden is stunning, filled with magnificent, towering trees and peaceful rice paddies that create a truly serene atmosphere. The food was delicious, and breakfast each morning was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly makes this place exceptional is the staff. Everyone was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive to every detail, always making us feel genuinely cared for. A special thank you to Prashant, Sampath, and Kavi for their outstanding hospitality. "If you want a little time in a luxurious place with great service look no further! Stayed there a few days as a little treat for ourselves and we really enjoyed our time! On-site restaurant with attentive staff, good room service, wonderful swimming pool with a view and the owners live on site and are very kind people! Super close to Secret beach, a tuk tuk ride away from other great beaches... Recommend this place. Very new too so facilities are in great condition. "

"This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so we spent the majority of the day at their beachside cafe called Happy Lab. We came in April, so waves a little high but we managed to enjoy our time in the water. We took a stroll in the evening to check out other nearby beachside restaurants and settled on dinner at The Twins. Everyone was accommodating and we had a lovely time."
