The hotel is right next to the ferry dock and is so simple to get to. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They're especially understanding if German isn't your first language. I stayed in the accommodation building which was an easy 4-5 min walk from the main building and even being in a ground floor room I had the best lake and mountain views. Great place, modern and special

The view was better than the photos you see on the website it’s magical :) Good breakfast. The reception ladies can be more helpful / informative about booking taxi and rides around the area as it’s not very accessible be very appreciated as it can get very stressful missing flights and stuff.

Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful, comfortable or hospitable place to stay overnight.

Magical 4 days at Schloss Leoplodskron over Christmas 2016. Suites in the historic palace are enormous with views of either the lake or the fortress. Sumptious breakfast buffet served daily in th Marble Hall. Stunning grounds to explore and only 20 minute walk into the old town.

Bus stops out the front and large convenience store at the back.

This was a lovely small hotel in the old city. I originally had trouble locating the hotel as I put the wrong street into my GPS and there were road works chainging the flow of traffic. One entrance opens onto pedestrian street in old town and other entrance has one place to park the car and unload baggage. Instructions for public parking under the mountain were precise and a map was given. I booked a suite and it was huge. Very large lounge, large bedroom, study, hallway and large bathroom....

Breakfast was excellent and well organised.

I stayed as a solo in the Business single room - comfortable double bed, Nespresso machine, heated towel rail and complimentary mini bar. The staff are incredible and make you feel so welcome and comfortable in this beautifully restored heritage building. The location is unbeatable - walkable to everywhere in the old town - thank you for such a memorable stay

Enjoyed our stay. We loved Salzburg. Loved the peaceful location. Meals available all day which was very convenient.

Beautiful hotel, full of charm. Great location for the old town area of Salzburg. They organise tours if needed- would recommend the sound of music one. Very comfy, excellent service. A nice gift awaits you in your room.

Lovely big room with comfortable bed and sofa, and very clean. Lovely bathroom - only negative was tap design / hand basin design meant water splashed everywhere even on very low pressure. The owners were delightful and extremely helpful. Would recommend.
