"My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay at AWOL Stowe. From the moment we arrived, the front desk attendant (Riley) made us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly and shared tips and recommendations that helped us make the most of our visit. The hotel has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. "In fairness, we only stayed two nights and didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel. The Lodge offered a nice array of amenities (hot tub, pool, bar, outdoor pavilion with bands (on Thursday night). Our plans didn’t allow us to enjoy them to a great extent. We ate across the street at The Bench restaurant. It was very good. The Lodge’s free breakfast was minimalistic… bagels, fruit, hard boiled eggs and cereal. It’s an old property. The staff and ownership have done a nice job keeping it...
