(No elevator) Booked a private car to airport If you are in the mood for a great hike, go up to Mount Pelligrino!! Trust gps"

"Excellent location in the middle of lots of restaurants and attractions. Check in process was easy, and we could store our luggage for a few hours after check out which was a big bonus for us. I was worried about potential noise at night when I saw a big jar of ear plugs in the common area, but we didn't have any issues with noise from the street below."

"On a side street behind a wooden door and up a flight of stairs, a whole level turned into a series of suites. Staff very friendly and helpful, modern bathroom and huge room. Make time to book an house in the Spa after a busy day exploring Palermo. Breakfast was adequate but the selection quite tasty. Very close to the main walking streets and markets, and train station. I would stay here again. "

"Good apartment in a gentrifying area near Ballard Market and a short walk to Centrale, Via Maqueds, Palazzo Reale, Cathedral etc. Nice people, the helpful receptionist is fluent in English, the breakfast young woman, who also kept the apartment spotless, is lovely. Use the train direct to Palazzo Orleans Reale station 10 minutes walk from the apartment as it’s faster and much cheaper than a taxi on the clogged roads."

"Excellent hotel right next to the Palermo central station and 1 min walk from the Main Street of Palermo (where you will find all the main attractions). Very kind staff, the check in process was very smooth and easy. The room is comfortable and the location is everything - being right next to the station made very easy coming by train from the airport, going for a day trip to Cefalu and later going to Taormina by train. Super recommend!"
