"Nice clean hotel in Elizabeth, NJ. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Has a restaurant that stays open until 10.30 pm. Breakfast, an excellent optimal extra, is $16 per person but is offset with very reasonable room prices. Good shuttle to Newark International Airport.. Would definitely stay here again."

"Nothing was unique. Everything was very filthy. I want my money back!!"

"The place looks sketchy on the outside and the interior could use some work. Also towels/soap/etc should be somewhat provided or at least try to have a couple just in case to accommodate people that dont have those items readily available. Staff was amazing Ahmed helped me get situated when no one else was answering so I really appreciate him helping me get set up cuz it was kinda confusing getting in the rooms/home."

"Inspite of being in the hotel business for a long time, Howard Johnson still has a good cleanliness standard , welcoming front desk and staff and one of the lowest pricing. Aside from being so conveniently near the Newark Airport, it also has so much room for parking."

"A pretty decent room with convenient proximity to the airport. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The space features a full kitchen and a restroom, making for a comfortable stay."

"Stayed here for the weekend. Room was suitable and clean. The neighborhood was a little rough but nothing too concerning. Very close to the airport. The person on the phone made it very easy to check in and out. I have no complaints, would definitely return to this place the next time im in town"
