"Great location between the airport and Auckland CBD. The staff are friendly and very helpful with any request. "

"Lovely apartment setup with kitchen and laundry facilities. Very quiet location, close to good food options and proximity to The Powerstation. Best to book carpark for $20 secure and easy access. I would recommend staying here."

"Heritage building with quirky decor. Comfortable room before our stop to the airport. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance"

"Excellent service and staff were lovely"

"Verandahs is a lovely old villa with an almost ‘posh’ backpackers vibe. Its a couple of minutes walk to Ponsonby Road and about 10-15 minutes to K Road. We stayed in a queen room with ensuite which was spacious and clean, with nice linen on the bed. Check in was a breeze and the service was friendly and warm. Definately recommend and would stay here again :)"

"Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Handy location to the Auckland CBD."

"No gym even though it’s still advertised as having one. Was told it was ‘being refurbished’ when I asked for directions, but I’m suspicious since no signage for any gym. Seemed very clean and tidy, rooms seem fairly freshly painted and modern. Although some minor overlooked maintenance like phone and lamp not working. Staff were pleasant and good cover generally on the reception. Good location for bars and restaurants on K-Road. Great night at Lone Star which is attached to the hotel. Happy hour...

"I loved my stay at the Bavaria boutique hotel. Erika and Kerry were wonderful. It felt like a home away from home and in a lovely Neighbourhood with great connections into downtown and awesome food on Dominion Road. I loved the view from my room and the lush garden. The in-house breakfast was really convenient. "

"The stay was awesome! The property was right in the middle of the city, which made it very convenient. The staff were friendly and explained everything clearly when we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and had plenty of storage. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!"

"Friendly, helpful staff member on arrival. Room and ensuite were impeccably clean. We would have preferred if there was more furniture like a couple of armchairs and another bedside table but understand it's fairly budget friendly accommodation "

"Nice people at the front desk, rooms were great, and an ideal location for experiencing Auckland's nightlife!"

"The hotel backed on to a very nice park, on a quiet street in downtown Auckland. It’s close to practically everything, shopping, restaurants, waterfront…. Will stay there again when we are next in Auckland"

"The Hostel was conveniently located within the CBD and it was surprisingly clean and the staff were very kind and helpful considering it my first place to "land" on my arrival as an international student in Auckland. "

"Great location, handy to Queen St, K' Rd and public transport"
