It was clean, the staff were ridiculously friendly and helpful and the location was close to everything I wanted to do or get to while I was in town. If you’re attending a show at the White Eagle Saloon and you don’t mind a steepish stair climb to your room, I’d recommend checking out these lodgings."

"The room was clean and the bathrooms are huge. The rooms are SO dark, though. Very minimalist with cement ceilings and no significant lighting. The staff brought us a microwave which was great to heat up leftovers."

"The Hotel is in a very lively and convenient area of downtown Portland just 400 feet from Powell’s Books. The staff was very responsive and helped us stay in a quiet room on the top floor. The coffee and tea selection were better than the average hotel and the room itself beautiful and spacious with nice views. We would definitely stay there again!"
