"We went for a weekend to be around St. Joe’s we stayed outside of downtown St. Joe’s at this location. Inside was very nice, not too many options outside of hotel for food other than fast food but very easy drive to beach and to stay around in area. All staff was very friendly!"

"The room was very clean, very updated. The beds were very clean with the most comfy pillows! Loved them!!! Very close to Tosi’s restaurant which is a wonderful restaurant! Breakfast choices were ok, but no breakfast meats, like bacon, sausage etc…. Otherwise, will definitely stay there again! Very well run hotel! Thanks!"

"We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you."

The family works hard, is attentive, appears very supportive of each other, and very outgoing with their guests. I would stay with them any time I was in the Saint Joseph/Benton Harbor area - they offered real value, and I liked the operators very much."
