"All one room (minus laundry and bathrooms) but very comfortable and cool in the Tokyo heat. The balcony isn’t accessible but the windows open for a view if you want it. The train station is a short walk and there’s a konbini just down the road in either direction. We rarely used the bus system but there is a stop right in front of the building. All around great location for a stay in Tokyo!"

"This was the first time for our group of four going to Japan. We each had our own room and while they were nothing flashy they had everything you’d need. The hotel staff was very friendly, made us feel comfortable and even helped us ship our luggage to the next hotel. The location is very convenient being just a few minutes away from the train station, konbinis and good restaurants. Shin-koiwa is a nice place away from the big city, while still having everything you need within walking distance....

Free alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks from 5-8 p.m. Amazing breakfast buffet that varied every morning. Fans of Monchichi toys will find statues and manhole covers near the JR station. I would definitely come again. "
