"Annual trip to Scarborough for the cricket The Crescent is the best hotel I have found. I especially like the new menu in the lounge (along with the Scarborough Fair beer at 6%) I think they need to think about global warming (who would have thought that you might need air conditioning in Scarborough?). "Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. The lounge was a cosy welcoming place with plenty of books and games and an honesty bar stocked with a variety of beverages. "Clean and spacious family room in a lovely part of Scarborough, within easy reach of town and the South beach but away from the hustle and bustle. Welcoming staff and room was clean and well maintained. The shower was very weak and our top floor room warm at night but a fan helped. Good value overall. "

"Fit for purpose a single room for a one night stop for a concert. Arrived late left early. Only 12 hours in scarborough ! Love the town great Madness concert at the open air theatre. Bus home from the OAT dropped right outside the hotel. Brilliant "

"Some areas could do with a little TLC (ie paint finishes and stains) but beyond that, it was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was great and good prices. The hotel was quiet, even with a bar downstairs. I stayed with my granddaughter on the 3rd floor. Twin room small but adequate. Easy walk to train station and down to South Bay. We will be going again! "

"Although an old building and in need of some TLC and upgrading in parts I love it here ( have stayed numerous times). The location is perfect as it’s close to the beach but also the town centre. The staff are always to hand in times of questions and queries."
