"Moments from the central train station, this is a well run and hospitable hotel that is perfect for the train traveller. The front desk was efficient and helpful at all times. There is great corner pub just a block away and it’s a short walk to the best sites in Messina. "

"Accueil par une personne âgée qui voulait être règlée en cash alors qu'il y avait le sigle VISA sur la porte.. nous avons insisté et payé avec CB. Petit déjeuner frugal. Vieil hôtel, mais les trois étoiles sont elles encore homologuées????On a l'impression d'être dans une époque c'est dépaysant et drôle."

"We had a wonderful comfortable stay. The property has been renovated to the highest standards with beautiful cosy bedrooms and a large bathroom. I loved the large shower which is a rare find in Italy. The entire place was spotless and we had wonderful water views from our room. "The person who was checking us in couldn't speak English at all, and we don't speak Italian. He demanded from us a city tax of 2eur/person and become very upset when we didn't want to pay it ( that's because according to email from Expedia it should be 1eur/person). We translated the email for him but, nevertheless, he was quite unpleasant towards us. Later in the day some other guy (with a bit of English) waved the payment off but the two of them treated us like an evil necessity till the end...

"Apartment was located 100 meters from the Piazza Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Great spot for a day to explore Messina or take the ferry to mainland Italy. Breakfast was not included in the booking but the host provided it for free anyway. Highly recommend this B&B. "

"Clean private room and bathroom with shared reception area. Comfy bed, good AC, great shower pressure and hot water. 20 min walk to train station. Would stay again You can hear other guests entering and exiting their rooms, but at reasonable hours."

"Stayed one night. That was enough."

"Di transito per lavoro, buon hotel camera spaziosa e luminosa, centrale. Trovato anche ottima palestra vicina (Arimatea) "

"Recepción solo abierta por la mañana , muy pocos servicios por no decir ninguno , almuerzo muy simple y precio desorbitado."

"Front desk was helpful-we were sent to the wrong place for breakfast-didn't have internet service after 8pm-check out took over an hour. I booked with hhotel.com but the hotel said I had to pay them which has never happened to me-without internet it took an hour to run charges-there were little black bugs in our bed which made you itch and left red marks-we were able to shack the sheets which helped. I would not stay there or recommend any travelers, because of the experience I had."

"It's a beautiful room and its in a very nice area. The hosts are such lovely people. I surely would recommend it."

"Amazingly warm welcome by the hosts who even helped me carry my bags, and gave tips for the taxi and places to eat. Faultless place. Would return again!"
