Excellent selection of breakfast, though it does get very busy at peak times (as the hotel warns about). "Excellent hotel for a visit to Berlin, large, quiet rooms with antiques and art throughout the building. Outstanding breakfast array, stylish bar from 6 p.m. Tram stop only 100 metres away, just a few minutes from major Alexanderplatz transit station with lines to everywhere in Berlin. Located in the very civilized Prenzlauer district, many cafes and eating options, great for walking. Highly recommended."

"Excellent apartments. A spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms and a living room combined with a kitchen and dining area. There is also a small balcony with a nice view. Fully matches the description. Very convenient location — about a 10-minute walk to Alexanderplatz. Small shops, cafes, and bakeries are nearby. The apartment is quiet with good sound insulation, even though some windows face a busy street. Suitable for families with children. Recommended."

"I try to stay at this hotel whenever I am in Berlin. The rooms are great, very spacious, the staff efficient and helpful. The restaurant has a varied menu but is shut on Sundays. "

"Great location close to U bahn and metro, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars. Beware lots of stairs but being at the top means the apartment has a great view and is quiet. The apartment is huge, with a well equipped kitchen, dining table and sofa (not a sofa bed but could be slept on!). Bathroom clean and includes a washing machine. Only gripe is the description suggests twin beds in one of the rooms but there were two doubles. "

"Housekeeping staff was amazing and took great care to attend to our room. Bonus was a teakettle and various teas offered in the room. Being inside the train station, the train to anywhere was right there!"
