Lovely property with a fantastic view from the restaurant and outdoor terrace. Had a room with a view over the Wye River and valley which was lovely. Parking was easy and accessible from the rear of the property. The only downside was that the rooms did not have air conditioning and were quite hot.

We very much enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Kings Head. The adventure of staying in a very old pub in the centre of town. It took us a couple of laps of the Ross High street to find the parking entrance and with some precision driving we got in to the car park down a narrow walk way. Parking is a bit limited some evenings but there is also a public parking area at the rear of this. Reception was warm friendly and helpful. Staff made us welcome as soon as we arrived. Great rooms and fantastic views. Liked the touch that dress was up to you for dinner and we were in our own area for a birthday celebration organised from Australia. Have to say we could not fault anything and apart from the distance from Australia I would stay again and I have no hesitation in recommending Cottage in the Woods to anyone. Residents lounge mobile free zone. Excellent and Breakfasts not to be missed either.

Lovely hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. There are some great walks around the area.
