"Excellent place to stay in Bayeux, staff were all very helpful and made us feel welcome. Our room was in the ‘Orangery’ spacious, modern and peaceful set in the gardens. Plenty of parking spaces. For this trip we stayed in five hotels - UK and Paris - this one was the best, highly recommend."

"Beautiful hotel in country park setting just a few minutes drive from Bayeux. Room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Good buffet breakfast (though some items ran out before the end) and enjoyed a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. An excellent base for visiting Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. "

"Our stay at Logis de Saint Jean was wonderful. Valérie was very welcoming and her home is beautiful. Each morning she prepared a delicious breakfast (we’re big fans of her Tarte Normande). Bayeux and the surrounding areas were absolutely gorgeous and my husband and I are already planning planning to return to Normandy in the future."

"The owners of Hotel Le St Patrice are wonderful. The town of Bayeux is charming, and this hotel adds to the charm. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is huge. Since it’s owned by a local couple, they have really fine suggestions for navigating food/drink/tours. We couldn’t ask for more."

"We stayed in the guesthouse in the back with three bedrooms and three toilets and showers with a kitchen. Large space for six. Bayeaux is lovely and the Castel is a perfect location within it."

"Spacious hotel room for France. Very pretty and close to the shops and sights. A few minutes from the Bayeux train station if heading to Paris or vice versa for a portion of your trip. The free included breakfast was phenomenal. Really a fun stay."

"Very handy location on the edge of Bayeux with easy parking. The chateau has been nicely restored and an interesting guide to it's history is provided in the bedroom. Nice grounds with shady areas to sit and relax. Great choice for a plentiful breakfast. The crepes were lovely."

"We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It was a charming and quiet location in the Normandy region. We were able to travel to the various historical attractions in the area easily without having to stay in the heart of a city. Our room was very spacious, including the bathroom, and clean. The hosts at the B&B were very kind and considerate. And, the best part was the delicious and fresh breakfast every morning. "
