Hyatt Regency Guam

Hyatt Regency Guam

10/10 Excellent
"My original stay at this property was Sept. 9-15 as part of a group of conference organizers; however, I extended for 2 more days due to the high level of service and accommodations. The housekeeping & engineering staff were on-point in making me feel sincerely welcome and valued. I had several interactions with the front desk due to two instances where my room key no longer worked. I had to walk a back twice to the front desk. Compared to the other staff, the front desk employees were very noticeably less friendly and with far fewer smiles. “Please, thank you, our apologies, ma’am, sir, you’re welcome and Hafa Adai” are always in fashion and highly appropriate in a hotel such as this. The ballroom staff set a very high standard of courtesy and professionalism. They endured five days of high-pressure interaction from a demanding clientele. I observed them handle difficult people with a smile and quick resolution. Excellent job ballroom staff! I stay in many Guam hotels, especially the higher-end hotels. I was very impressed and amazed at the level of focus and attention placed on minor repairs, cleanliness and attention to detail. Some nearby higher-end hotels have large amounts of gross and disgusting black mold, even within the balconies. Not the Hyatt Regency Guam. From the 12th floor, I saw very, very little signs of mold anywhere. Paintwork is excellent. That is a very positive and lasting impression of a high quality hotel. I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Guam."
