"We really enjoyed this place. It was very conveniently located, though alas has no onsite parking, and the staff are kind and helpful and there are plenty of them. The building is elegant, cozy and the bed was totally fine. It was great to have a bath (in the room type I selected). The bar and restaurant were very convenient. I do wish the food was less “standard NZ-European” though. Just so hard-normal. Would have loved some more adventurous food."

"Loved our stay here! Motorcycle parking half a block away meant that we didn't share other reviewers' concerns about parking. Easy walking distance to several good restaurants and cafes. The only downside was the loud guests at a nearby bar, but accommodation providers can't control everything. We'd happily stay again."

"Great little place to stay in Napier for a couple of nights. Our room was very tidy and quiet. It is an easy walk into town and to the beach front. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Secure onsite parking is a bonus, although the access is tight for larger vehicles."
