"This was the Mercure hotel and I nearly missed it when walking past. Staff on arrival and departure extremely helpful and welcoming. Everything is clean although it does look a little tired and probably needs updating. Having said that, my bed was extremely comfortable, sheets and bedding a delight, Shower and bathroom spotless and I also felt safe in this hotel. Location is right in the centre of the Lace district, lots going on but I was in the back of the hotel and slept like a baby! Would go...

"The hotel was very nice. We had a garden room with access to the back patio area and the views were stunning. Really quiet and peaceful but also not at all far from the main centre. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Will definately go again."
