"Truly wonderful staff who really understand how to make you feel welcome and comfortable without being overly ‘there’. Plenty of space to relax and be ourselves. A couple of the waiting staff outside were a little brusque for our tastes but this is splitting hairs. Spectacular location and the views over the marina are stunning. The view was well worth the money for a room upgrade in my eyes. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. The bath was deep, filled quickly and hot enough...

"This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match...

"Basic facilities but very clean and comfortable with helpful staff. Excellent value for money and reasonable cost parking at East Gate car park only 90 seconds walk away. Very central for shopping and only 10 mins walk to Portman Road stadium."

"Large clean room with king size bed and seating area with TV, tea making facilities with fridge and large en suite. The room overlooks farmland. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked and the hosts were full of interesting information about the surrounding area."

Special mention to Joshua (F&B Manager) who stepped in to resolve an issue on arrival, dealt with promptly and professionally (thank you). Nice room, peaceful location. Restaurant dinner excellent, as was breakfast and brunch. Highly recommended."

"The staff are always helpful and friendly whenever we stay at this hotel, which is one reasons we stay here when in Ipswich. The rooms are adequately furnished and always clean and fresh. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff in the dining room keep it clean, tables are cleared and re-set quickly. Although it is just off the A14 it is a quiet location with good parking."

"The room was lovely and spacious. The furniture was very traditional but you’d expect that at this type of property. The room had a variety of teas and coffees . The home made biscuits were a great addition too . Staff were amazing and made the stay more special due to their attentiveness. All food was exceptional as was the service. The only negative thing I can think of is that there isn’t much to do within walking distance. The grounds were lovely but only took 10 minutes to walk around."
