"We had a fantastic stay at Miners Cottage for one night while attending the Eden Sessions. It was absolutely perfect for the four of us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were greeted with a lovely welcome food hamper, which was a really thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Communication with our hosts was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here...

"Really beautiful hotel. Great decor and you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into creating it. Food was outstanding and the staff were lovely. Didn’t get her name, but the female staff member who served us dinner Friday and breakfast was lovely. The team also helped us order a taxi to a wedding and asked us about our day. "As it was once a jail, the walls are thick and built under interesting (challenging) circumstances, which you can learn about. It feels like you are inside a sturdy fortress. The rooms are very well appointed and the bathroom is a highlight, with a waterfall shower and a fabulous bathtub placed on the tiles at the other end of a full length wall mirror. Lux. The room and hotel are immaculate and very luxurious. The Sunday dinner was wonderful as was the breakfast. Very high quality ingredients. The staff were very attentive. A very relaxing stay. "We had a wonderful stay in Cornwall. Helen was an absolute star our entire stay, from a cream tea ready for our arrival, to posting some forgotten inhalers back to us in Leeds after we had left! The accomodation is beautiful and quiet, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We found it to be very peaceful and loved having the ability to cook our own food with the aid of plenty of supermarkets nearby. This accomodation is not one to be missed!"

"Better than expected. Beautiful building, fabulous room - in great condition, very comfy and clean. Tea and coffee making that included fresh milk in the fridge. Spa also brilliant as well as a great breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Didn't stay with kids, but would be perfect for families with all the extra ameneties."
