"I loved everything about the Jarvis Inn. I stayed in the cottage and it was just perfect, the bed was so comfortable. Ian the Inn Keeper was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay and he had great recommendations for dinner and night life in town which I took him up on. I especially loved breakfast Ian made the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. It was my first time in New Bern definitely not my last and I look forward to staying her again. "

Breakfast buffet was very average, and our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, even though it was after 6 p.m. To their credit, the hotel staff was great about working out a solution to get us a new room. Location is a bit of a drive from downtown New Bern."
