"This is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed! It is a beautiful property with a traditional, Japanese style. We loved the suite with a separate bedroom and living room with a fridge! Our family paid the extra charge per day for the delicious breakfast served in our room. The hotel staff were so accommodating and professional! They answered questions about the area and helped us find a wonderful shopping and Japanese shrine area in Kyoto so we could purchase traditional Japanese tea sets...

"This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment - it was spacious and modern and clean. we liked the location too - near the Niko-Jo place and Imperial Garden. Would recommend for a family traveling to Kyoto. Only downside is front desk is only open between 3-8pm but it didn’t pose a problem for us. "

"I thought the environment and the staff were very friendly and cozy. It’s a short walk from any convenience store and Nishiki market is about a 15 to 20 minute walk. The onsen is definitely a plus after a long day of walking. "
