"Hotel Villa Florida was a delightful find in the heart of Gardone Riviera. The room was sumptuous with impressive wall paper and furnishings that reminds one of the Palace of Versailles. The staff was very kind and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we were compfortable. A highlight was of course the extemely generous breakfast that featured warm options, Italian meats and cheeses, sweets, pasteries and breads. "This hotel is run by a nice and serviceminded person, but the rooms are not what you expect from a three star hotel. The whole organization needs shaping up in order to offer proper service. The food was good and the pricing OK. The overall impression of this establishment is that it is a decent restaurant, with limited possibilities for staying. That is depending on the low standards of the rooms. "

"This was a grand Villa, whch turned into a hotel in 1960. Everything is updated and beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff is wonderful. We loved our room. All was wonderful and I highly recommend. Just know that there is a 7 minute walk to the beginning of Salo's passeggiata."

"Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. We went outside of season for a business trip and the prices were very much worth the stay. Food was delicious with a gorgious view on the lake. The spa was very relaxing, plenty of space for parking. Comfortable, beautiful rooms (we stayed in luxury room). Spacious environment with a yard and pool, even though this was too cold to try :)"

"Hotel Savoy Palace is not too far from cities (Salò is less than a five minute drive), but also pleasantly secluded. The small extra cost of a room with a balcony was worth it, as the views of Lake Garda from our room never got old. The hotel maintains it grandeur from the early 20th century. It is well maintained and clean. It is not overly modernized, which preserves the charm and character. Some features, such as the elevator, were clearly old, but very clean and efficient.
