"While the staff were lovely- however, they were just kids. As a single solo traveler (female) I would cannot recommend this motel-even for only one night near airport. Door barely locked. Kinda frightening, really. Had I not had a bad travel bug, I would have left. Not the greatest part of town either."

"Great hotel just a 5 minute walk to the Zocalo. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was incredible, as good as anything we ate throughout our stay. The staff were all great, with a special shoutout to Fernanda at the front desk and the servers at breakfast for making everything so nice. Highly recommended!"

The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here."

"Rooma are large and clean, not much wardrobe space. But ok for 1. Stayed for week,hotel is 600m from center of Oaxaca but the walk is fairly pleasant and easy.
Half way during my atay they opened the outside area whixh gave somewhere to sit in the shade
