"Check in was a little protracted. I didn’t think I needed a detailed explanation of how to find things on the property using the map. Turns out I did as the map is somewhat confusing. Rooms are lovely, amenities for bath and different types of pillow options were a treat. My room came with “butler service” which is really nothin different than you’d get from any nicer hotel…turn down service etc. I was very disappointed that my room choice didn’t allow for the in room chef and breakfast did not come with my stay."

It was ground floor, near the entrance, as a solo traveller I always prefer to be on a higher floor
2 generous sized pools, I used the family pool for my early morning swim …
Lots of sun bathing options, my preferred one was on the upper terrace, above the family pool and overlooking the sea.
Happy hour options were great , effectively from 4pm to 7 pm
Great choice of food , reasonably priced, there was always an offer of some description
I only ate once at the hotel , room service pizza, convenience after a travel day.
Ate at The Duke, opposite the hotel … highly recommended "
