Motels Hotel Accommodation in Morro Bay

Volcanic Morro Rock stands sentinel over this seaside haven, where sea otters float lazily in the protected harbour. Kayak through the estuary while herons stalk the shallows and harbour seals eye you with casual interest. After exploring Morro Bay State Park's hiking trails, browse the surprisingly excellent Skateboard Museum city centre. Local fishing boats supply waterfront restaurants with catches so fresh they practically introduce themselves. The Art Association Gallery showcases coastal-inspired works, while birders flock to the estuary with expensive binoculars and knowing smiles. For a perfect afternoon, grab fish tacos from a harbour shack and watch the sun paint the volcanic monolith gold as fishing boats return home.
