Motels Hotel Accommodation in Petersburg

Beneath the shadow of history, Petersburg's National Battlefield reveals the scars of America's Civil War through remarkably preserved trenches and earthworks. Old Towne's brick-lined streets host galleries and cafes where locals debate which historic building has the most interesting ghost storey. The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier offers intimate glimpses into soldiers' lives through personal artefacts and letters. Trapezium House puzzles visitors with its deliberately skewed walls, built without right angles to confuse evil spirits. At Blandford Church, Tiffany stained glass windows transform afternoon light into kaleidoscopic splendour. After exploring, find a riverside spot along the Appomattox where herons fish with more patience than the anglers watching them.
