"Beautiful country house hotel, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The Stables restaurant was delightful with a really varied menu for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful I know sounds too good to be true but it really was a lovely experience and we’ll definitely be back"

They went above and beyond to help us out from Georgia booking taxis for us to my friend behind the bar going to his house to get me cigarettes when I had run out big thanks (hope you enjoy Edinburgh 👍👍👍) cleanliness spot on ,food amazing,and very reasonable for top quality,. would recommend to anyone looking forward to seeing you all again thanks "

"Our room was spotless as were the general areas. Comfy bed. Perfect location for Beamish Museum and some of the local golf courses. A more powerful shower would have been the only improvement for us. Really friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again."
